Google's DeepMind is setting up shop in Canada, seeking talent from the artificial intelligence research community at Edmonton's University of Alberta DeepMind - the UK-based artificial intelligence (AI) division of Google - has announced it will be joining forces with the University of Alberta to create its first international research lab.
